They Are Waiting

Lyrics

[SPOKEN-WORD INTRO] (Slow. Reverent. Almost whispered at first.) Before they ever called His name He already knew their voice Before they went searching He was the one who sent them He does not need perfect messengers Only willing shepherds Hear Him now [VERSE 1] Prepare… His flock (pause) So they will recognize… His voice Go through the world Every… nation Every… kingdom Every… tongue (last word held) [VERSE 2] Proclaim repentance (firm, deliberate) Not the washed-out version The world… teaches But with humility (drop dynamics) In their… hearts [VERSE 3] He paid… for their sins (weight on “paid”) He sealed the covenant With His blood That is why no other… name (pause) Can… save… them [BRIDGE] (Build here — layered vocals work well) For He is the Alpha And the Omega The First… And the Last He is the author of Your… salvation Death could not… (hold) Contain… Him [BREAK / BREATH] (Music drops. One sustained chord.) [OUTRO] Now go… (soft but commanding) And find… His sheep [PROPHETIC TAG] (Spoken or sung, free-time) They will hear Him They will know Him They will follow His voice Do not fear the distance Do not fear the darkness His sheep are not lost They are waiting Go.
